Mission

We’re on a mission to change how young people experience fitness, nutrition and their bodies.

 

At Based in Strength, we teach the fundamentals of movement, fitness, nutrition and how their bodies ACTUALLY work.

 

All workshops and strength & fitness sessions are taught in a fun, age-appropriate, and empowering way.

 

Kids gain not just physical skills, but the confidence to feel good in their own skin and to take control of their own health.

Health Literacy Workshops

We deliver high energy, educational workshops that empower young people with real life tools for movement, health, and self confidence.

While school lessons often focus on sport participation, our workshops focus on helping young people:

  • Understand their own bodies

  • Know how to move confidently in a way that they enjoy

  • Recognise how to fuel themselves

  • Be confident in making health decisions based on what is best for them, not just what they see online

Youth Strength & Fitness Sessions

We deliver dynamic strength & fitness sessions to small groups, sports teams, home ed groups and 1:1.

These sessions offer the opportunity for children to:

  • Move safely, build confidence, and develop a positive relationship with exercise

  • Build strength and make friends in a fun, supportive way

  • Compliment their sports training

  • Learn fundamental strength movement patterns safely
